Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of fromrootstolove.com and everything offered through it — the love root quiz, the blog, the AI voice coach and our online courses (together, the "Services").

The Services are operated by S.C. Reinvent Shop Online S.R.L., a company registered in Romania, with its registered address at 253 A, Chet 415301, Bihor County, Romania, trading as From Roots to Love ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at support@fromrootstolove.com.

By creating an account, making a purchase or using the Services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our AI Disclosure, our Disclaimer and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

1. Coaching and education — not therapy

From Roots to Love provides relationship coaching and educational content. We are not a medical, psychological, psychiatric or counseling provider, and nothing we offer is therapy, diagnosis or treatment. Our AI coach is an artificial intelligence, not a licensed professional. Please read our Disclaimer carefully.

If you are in crisis or in danger, do not use the Services. Call 911, or call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) in the United States. More resources are on our crisis resources page.

2. Who can use the Services

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. The Services are designed for people in the United States; if you use them from elsewhere, you are responsible for complying with your local laws.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity on your account. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us right away at support@fromrootstolove.com if you think someone else has accessed your account. One account per person — accounts are personal and may not be shared or resold.

4. The AI voice coach

• Minutes. Voice sessions use minutes from your balance. New accounts may receive a one-time welcome allowance of free minutes (limited per person and per device/network). Paid plans add a monthly allowance of minutes.
• Minutes don't roll over and have no cash value. Unused plan minutes expire at the end of each billing period; welcome and bonus minutes may expire if your account is closed.
• Sessions end automatically when your balance runs out.
• AI limitations. The coach can be wrong, misunderstand you or produce unhelpful responses. Use your own judgment and don't rely on it for decisions about your health, safety, finances or legal matters.
• Recording and processing. Using the coach means your voice is processed in real time by our technology providers to run the conversation. What we keep afterward depends on the privacy option you choose in your account. See the Privacy Policy and AI Disclosure. By starting a session you consent to this processing.

5. Courses

When you buy a course, you get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access its content for your own non-commercial use for as long as we offer the course (and in any case for at least the lifetime of your account, unless we refund you). You may not copy, record, resell, share your access or publish course materials.

6. Payments and subscriptions

• Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable sales tax may be added at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Subscriptions renew automatically every month at the then-current price until you cancel. By subscribing you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method each billing period.
• Cancel anytime from your account ("Manage billing"). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
• Plan changes take effect immediately with prorated charges or credits, as shown before you confirm.
• Price changes. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change applies to your subscription. If you don't agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
• Failed payments may pause your plan until the balance is paid.
• Refunds are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Services for anything illegal, harmful, harassing or abusive;
• try to make the AI coach produce sexual, violent or otherwise harmful content, or use it to role-play as a romantic partner;
• record, scrape, reverse engineer or overload the Services, or bypass usage limits (for example, by creating multiple accounts for free minutes);
• share content that infringes someone else's rights;
• impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity or age.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of what you say and write ("your content"). You give us a limited license to process your content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the Services, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your conversations to train AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.

9. Our content

The website, the ROOTS Method materials, quiz, courses, texts, designs, the AI coach persona and our brand belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

10. Changes to the Services and to these Terms

We may update or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid course you bought, we'll give you reasonable notice and either a way to download the core materials or a prorated refund. We may update these Terms; if the changes are material, we'll notify you by email or on the website at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after that means you accept the new Terms.

11. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from My account → Delete my account, or by writing to support@fromrootstolove.com. Deleting your account cancels any active plan immediately. We may suspend or terminate your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect users or the Services. Sections that by their nature should survive (for example, intellectual property, disclaimers and limitations of liability) survive termination.

12. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise any particular result in your relationships or your life.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or US $50 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.

14. Indemnity

If you use the Services in breach of these Terms or the law and that causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent permitted by law.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the place where you live. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us at support@fromrootstolove.com — most issues can be solved quickly. If we can't resolve it, disputes may be brought before the competent courts of Romania or, where your local law gives you that right, the courts where you live.

16. Miscellaneous

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganization or sale of the business, with notice to you. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services.
